I’m Taylor, the creative force behind the brand. J'Tan, pronounced (juh-tawn) is all about celebrating vibrancy self-expression and feeling free in your own skin. This brand is inspired by my amazing grandmother, Brita J'Tan. My namesake, instilled in me the belief that embracing ones true self while keeping faith at the forefront is the key to fearlessness. My grandma Brita had the most enormous heart and showed me how to care for every living thing, no matter the shape, color, or species. That kind of love is embedded in the essence of J'Tan making everyone feel alive, vibrant, and carefree. My journey into the world of design and creation started with a childhood love for art and crafting.

In 2021, my passion evolved into a desire to master the art of sewing. Alongside this newfound passion, I was blessed to receive priceless wisdom from my maternal grandmother, Cassandra. She shared her love for creation, tools, and materials with me before she passed. It's like she left a piece of herself with me. J'Tan is more than just a brand; it's a tribute to the incredible women who shaped my life and values.
